Napa School of Music Spring Recitals were held on Sunday, April 26th and Saturday, May 2nd. Congratulations goes out to all of our students who participated in the Spring performances.

We are sure that the recitals conjure up images from childhood for many. It is a rite of passage for our students of all ages to have a chance to shine in front of family and friends that they anticipate with nervous excitement.

Although performance opportunities can help prepare some students for a possible career in music, they also contribute to success in non-music activities, regardless of their age. The onstage experience can result in better presentations at school and work, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities.

So to all of our students who were a part of this Spring’s recital - thanks so much for sharing your talents with us! And for those who were not able to participate, we have another recital coming up in the fall. Next time you too can enjoy your moment where friends and family can come together and give you the recognition you deserve!

We couldn’t be more proud of the results. It is a time, as instructors, we get to enjoy the hard work and dedication of all of our students. With the ability to perform twice a year recitals provide much more than just a place to perform.

Our biannual recitals offer our students the opportunity to participate in a professionally directed performance that allows them to present the results of their hard work, dedication, and progress to their families and friends

A big part of the music instruction learning process includes learning through performance. The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance and contributes to a sense of confidence.
