Our Fall Recitals were held on Sunday, Oct. 26th and Saturday, November 1st at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church,

Wow! We have talented students!

Families and friends enjoyed seeing their musicians shine during our two Spring Recitals held Oct. 26th and Nov 1st  at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Napa.  Napa School of Music’s best moments are when we can showcase the truly unique talents  of our students.                                                      

Juliana Franzino, age 11, (pictured) played a wonderful version of  “Arab Dance”.

Thanks also to our talented and dedicated teaching staff that not only coached the students during the previous months but also helped out during the 2 days of recitals - Sean Allen,  Alex Balmaceda,  Kent Cohea, Dan DeWitt,  Tammie Dyer,  Karl Gonsalves, Chanah Harei-Orr,  Josh DiChiacchio,  Judith Kramp,  Meryll Locquiao, Gia Murray,  Vince Nash,  Alan Parks, Ruth Parry and Steve Trovao.  We also thank you for being a big part of our school.                                                      

Garage Band 101 concert rocks Vintage High School Little Theater.

The Fall has been a very busy time for the  Napa School of Music. Along with our 2 recital days we have seen the conclusion of yet another incredibly successful Garage Band 101 session.   This was our 13th GB101 session since we opened in January 2005.  The concert presented 5 bands and wrapped up with an impromptu solo by Chad Blower of  Van Halen’s “Eruption.”

The next session of Garage Band 101 starts the week of November 17th. The deadline for signing up for our 14th GB 101 session is November 13th.  And this session we will be adding an adult Garage Band.  So make sure you get your chance to rehearse and rock with your own band!
