Life wouldn’t nearly be as interesting without good music to get us through our days. We’ve all had that one song we can’t stop listening to. But what happens when the song starts to come from you? More importantly, what happens if you don’t know how to get it out into the world in the first place?
Don’t worry – with us here at the Napa School of Music in Napa, you won’t have to worry about putting your notes to paper.
What’s different at the Napa School of Music?
- We’re more personal and hands-on.
We specialize in personalized teaching techniques here, where you’ll find that one-on-one private lessons are the norm, instead of having an entire classroom. We want to get to know our students more and find out what draws them to their favorite kind of music, or the instrument they’ve chosen to use.
To make music, one must also be in touch with their emotions, which is why we aim to draw these out and put them on display for the world.
- We don’t sacrifice quality for quantity.
In classroom-based lessons, the student’s learning is almost always influenced by how the rest of the class is doing. The student is placed under more pressure to keep up with the rest of the class. However, we’ve found that this is not an approach that works, especially if you want to learn music.
In our private one-on-one lessons, the student is allowed to progress at their own pace and can even have a hand in switching up the lesson, if they like.
- We understand your potential for musical greatness.
To be able to just play an instrument isn’t enough. Making music is something you have to feel from within you, and our instructors understand this more than anyone.
Music is about the individual.
At the Napa School of Music in Napa, we provide a safe space for any aspiring musician to grow and progress their musical potential. You can enroll at any time of the year and take up different kinds of music. For us c, your personal development as an artist is ultimately much more important than any technical skill you have for your instruments.
